I understand Oracle is now charging for Java SE. The supported upgrade paths listed in KB51569 still apply. This change has no effect on the supported ePO upgrade paths. How does this change affect the supported ePO upgrade paths? All other ePO install packages ship with a JRE and can only be installed with the JRE that is included in the package. Only the specified, reposted installation packages allow you to select a custom JRE install location. ![]() The reposted installation packages block any attempt to install ePO using a JRE version not listed in the chart in step 1 of the following Solution. See the Solution below for instructions on how to download the appropriate JRE version and use it to install ePO. Only JRE versions with which McAfee has completed Quality Assurance (QA) testing are supported.
